Day 36 - Stretches

As promised, I finished another fifteen pages of Chapter 26 today. The chapter is getting slightly more complicated and difficult to follow, that's why I've decided to stop studying chemistry for the day and let it all "sink in".

I've noticed that coming back to chemistry after a small hiatus really puts everything in perspective again - it's easy to get caught up in minute details after a few hours of reading.

When you're focusing, you're actually blocking your access to the diffuse mode. And the diffuse mode, it turns out, is what you often need to be able to solve a very difficult, new problem"

Leaving a chemistry problem alone is sometimes the best way to solve it. So the next time you get fed up with this subject, go for a hike. More likely than not, you'll experience a BrainBlast and arrive at your answer. It's funny how the mind works.

My notes for Chapter 26 have been uploaded to my dropbox folder - they can be accessed here. I have 12 pages so far. Keep in mind, there may be dodgy explanations or minor errors. Use my notes as supplementary to your own - not as a substitute!

Cya!
